Dr. Asha Das, is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Union Christian College, Aluva. She completed her B.Tech Degree at College of Engineering, Adoor in 2002 and M.Tech. in Computer Science (with specialization in Digital Image Computing) at University of Kerala in 2005. She received her Ph.D in Computer Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2020. She is the recipient of the INAE Innovative Student Projects Award 2020 for the best Ph.D. Thesis. She has got research publications in many prestigious international journals published by IEEE, Springer, Elsevier etc. and also in many international conferences. Her areas of interest include Digital Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Data Compression and Medical Imaging. She has got almost 17 years of teaching experience in various educational institutions including engineering colleges.
